Alex Crisses Insight Venture Partners

Alex Crisses Insight Venture Partners deals with internet investments and infrastructure software. Alex Crisses serves as principal on a team that manages a portfolio of dozens of software as well as internet and new media entities that are domestically and internationally based. Mr. Crisses joined the firm with a background in investment banking, his experience as an analyst for Credit Suisse First Boston’s Global Energy and Power Group.

A Harvard Business School graduate, Alex Crisses earned his MBA with High Distinction and is a Baker Scholar. While attending graduate school, he served as conference director for Harvard's Venture Capital and Private Equity Club and participated in several other campus organizations, while maintaining recognition with Honors for distinguished academic performance. He earned his bachelor's degree from The Wharton School of Business at The University of Pennsylvania, where he achieved the school's highest honor, the Dean's Award for Excellence. His undergraduate career also included serving as a Wharton Ambassador and providing teaching assistance and advisement for his peers. He was a member of the Mortar Board National Honor Society and Golden Key International Honor Society, and a varsity tennis player at Wharton.

Alex Crisses Insight Venture Partners recent work has extended into the community, with a focus on local youth through fundraising efforts for the New York based charity, Minds Matter and contributing to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Alex has avidly supported the NYPD, having served as event chair and fundraiser for the Sergeants Benevolent Association.

Alex Crisses Insight Venture Partners has a growth-oriented focus on venture capital and private equity firms. Mr. Crisses has been part of the investment team for eight years.
